1. Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics
Obsessive Compulsive products use natural ingredients like lanolin and beeswax, not only to uphold cruelty free standards, but because they believe ethical cosmetics are just as easy to produce as any products on the market. OCC is 100% Vegan and Cruelty-Free, as internationally certified by PETA.
2. Physicians Formula
The Physicians Formula products are free from fragrance, PABA or any common skin irritants. They are recommended by allergists, dermatologists and opthalmologists for their natural and gentle formulas for the skin. They also use completely organic products and are completely sustainable and cruelty free.
3. Elf Cosmetics
Elf cosmetics are all about simple and ethical beauty. They products are not tested on animals and the company has a collaboration with PETA supporting organic and cruelty free cosmetics. Even better, they are incredibly cheap. Our fave is their Essentials Shimmering Facial Whip, it’s only $3.00! No excuse, get shopping.
4. Josie Maran
Josie Maran’s products are made from all natural and organic ingredients. Her focus is around pure argan oil formulas for its intense nourishing qualities. The company is sustainable and ethical in every part of the production process, from all packaging made from recyclable and PET plastic containers to recycled cardboard and social and economic impact for Morrocan women’s co-ops where they source their argan oil. My favourite is the Argan Infinity Cream Intensive Creamy Oil.
5. Urban Decay
Urban Decay are one of the most well known ethical beauty brands on the market. They are completely vegan and cruelty free. They are famous for their Naked Palettes and gorgeous illuminators. My fave is the Naked Skin Bronzing Beauty Balm.
